You are entering the virtual
garden of the
company W. Kordes' Söhne. The
rose varieties which you will find on
the following pages, could make
your flower dreams come true during
the next summer.
We are able to fill out each gap in
your garden by our successful breedings.
Tree roses are literally high-centred beauties
– their fragrance is near to our noses, their
magnificence catches our eyes. They determine
representative, architectonic public gardens but
they can also be planted in smaller, more natural
gardens around our houses. In tubs besides the door
or on the terrace they will welcome our guests.
Climbing roses on stems are named cascade-roses because of their beautiful
overhanging abundance of flowers. You can be sure that every variety offered
by us is really suitable for growing on stems. Growth habit will be more important
for a tree rose than a rose in bed. Our bunch of roses on stem is very precious
because it will grow bushy and will cover the leaves well. We also take care
that the single flower is beautiful, large and classical and/or in great number.
It is also important that they are frost-resistant so they will not need to
much winter protection. The stems are more suitable for varieties that are
less rain-resistant, because the higher flower will dry quicker.
